Dork-ism

Yesterday was the last official day of Summer and this is an outfit from late August. I really enjoyed this outfit and my glasses RIP (I broke them while dancing.)
But mostly I miss this summer and all the freedom that left with it. RIP summer of 2010. It wasn't the best summer I had hoped for but one thing I am honestly grateful about this summer was living in DC and spending time with a old friend. And three dollar margaritas!


The spirit of summer is still very much alive in my heart.

I met my best friend three in a half years ago. How?
Many people always ask how did you guys met?
I confess the way we met is a little embarrassing and one day we will hopefully both agree on a ridiculous story to tell people about how we met. But for now, well we met on the facebook group for Marymount. We didn't meet in person until the first day of school. So for four months I had been chatting and well falling in love with a stranger. I even considered taking him to my prom but decided not to since I had never met him, I kinda wish I would have taken him now. Shit.

We met August 31st 2007.
And well the rest is history.

He was and still is the first person to see me for me and nothing more or nothing less, he's the first person to accept me for everything I am and everything I am not, the one I shared one of the deepest secrets I have ever carried along with me, the one who makes me laugh till my bladder gives out, my first kiss-intimate hug-fuck and everything in between. My first love.
Honestly, Caco Cordero is my first everything and even if we ever broke up which I really hope never happens I can say that what we share(d) was/is real. I love him . And this is probably the mushiest crap I have ever written on here. But I had to say it.






And this the outfit I wore. I wish I would have dressed up more but I worked 12-7 on my anniversary. Oh well time in a half. whoop whoop.

I wore this because a. it was labor day and you know the rule don't wear white after labor day b. because I thought I was going on a boat and c. because I received this dress for my birthday and had not worn it at all.
