Connecting dots with stripes

On Monday I wore this to class, initially I was wearing navy blue pants with anchors on them, but instead I changed it up and added this long forgotten skirt from H&M. Mostly I changed because pants just irritate me these days and I feel prettier in skirts. also because those pants are low rise which I hate, I am hoping to find some high waisted pants/shorts soon.

Anyways, my theme for my outfit was pin-up/sailor/retro.

I think this is the first skirt I have ever bought after my emo/scene episode. That was four years ago. It took me four years to realize "wait, I think I really like this skirt."

And look at my new red shoes. I love. I think I might get them in black and pink.



I really liked the poke-a-dots, anchors, and strips all clashing together.
